Info & Application to Host a Tournament
Tournament Application Process
Step 1: Submit Tournament Details
- Submit Tournament Information via the following: CAHA Tournament Information Form .
Step 2: Email Required Documents
- USAH Tournament Application (Colorado Fillable PDF)
- Tournament or Jamboree Rules (must follow checklist, see below reference links)
- Certificate of Insurance (for Non-CAHA Members or hosts)
- Send to: Anda.Craven@usahockey.org
Step 3: Mail Fees
- $250 payable to USAH
- $50 payable to RMD
- $50 payable to CAHA (if hosting full-ice Girls, Youth, or HS tournament)
- Mail to: Anda Craven, 5218 Abbey Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526
- Fees can be combined if hosting multiple tournaments (one check each for USAH, RMD, and CAHA).
Additional Fee: $12.50 per game for full-ice Girls, Youth, and High School tournaments (capped at 100 games for CAHA members). Invoiced after event.
Deadline: All documents must be received at least 3 weeks before the event starts.
Required Electronic Scoring
All youth/girls tournaments (excluding cross/half ice jamborees and pond tourneys) must use GameSheets electronic scoring.
Reminders
- 6U/8U jamborees cannot start before 11/15.
- No tournaments during CAHA year-end events (first two weekends in March) unless pre-approved.
- Canadian teams: Travel permit required 2 weeks prior (send to Affiliate Registrar).
- International teams: Must submit Inbound Application for International Competition 30 days prior. Host pays fee to USAH.
