RoughRiders alum Sheffield inks NAHL tender agreement with Mudbugs
The Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL have signed Biggby Coffee AAA Hockey 18U forward Sawyer Sheffield to a tender agreement that will carry through the end of the 2026-27 season.
During the 2025-26 NAT1HL season, the Texas native recorded four points in 16 games for Biggby on a goal and three assists.
Sheffield appeared in the T1ER Top Prospects tournament this year in St. Louis.
During his youth hockey career, Sheffield also spent time with the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders.
