NCDC, USPHL weekly award winners include Colorado natives Delaney, Stringer
The NCDC and USPHL have announced their weekly award winners, including a pair of Colorado natives.
The NCDC New England Division Defenseman of the Week is Kevin Delaney of the Lewiston MAINEiacs and the USPHL Premier Florida Division Goaltender of the Week is the Coral Springs Jr. Cats’ Evan Stringer.
Delaney was solid for Lewiston over a two-game series. Delaney added two assists on Friday, then netted a goal on Saturday.
Back home, the Denver native skated for the Denver Jr. Pioneers and Rocky Mountain RoughRiders.
Stringer added a win to the season over the Typhoon Hockey Club. In Friday’s 5-1 final, the Fort Collins native allowed one goal off of 29 shots for a .967 SV%.
In Colorado, Stringer played for the RoughRiders and NCYH Jr. Eagles.
