Glenwood Springs native Weatherred posts productive weekend, earns weekly EHLP accolades
The EHL has announced that New Jersey Bears forward Jett Weatherred is one of the EHLP Mid-Atlantic Division Stars of the Week.
Weatherred was a strong offensive presence for the Bears with a standout performance in their 6-3 win over the New Jersey 87’s on Saturday.
The Glenwood Springs native, now a two-time Star of the Week this season, scored two goals just five minutes apart and also added an assist.
Weatherred now has 21 points on the year with nine goals and 12 assists as the Bears prepare to face the Pennsylvania Huntsmen this Saturday.
In Colorado, Weatherred played for Glenwood Springs High School and the Glenwood Grizzlies.
