Denver adds to staff, names Kremer chief of staff to ‘enhance our ability to raise the standard'

Denver has announced that Amanda Kremer has been named the hockey program’s chief of staff to further strengthen the organizational structure and expand the reach and brand of one of college hockey’s premier programs following the Pioneers’ 11th national championship and third title in a five-year span this past spring.

In this first-of-its-kind position in NCAA men’s ice hockey, Kremer will work directly with DU head coach David Carle and the program’s leadership team to help align priorities, advance key initiatives and execute the long-term vision of Denver hockey. Kremer’s duties will include coordinating high-priority projects, overseeing signature events and strengthening DU hockey’s collaboration across the athletic department, university and local business community.

She has spent her career helping high-performing organizations align people, execute meaningful initiatives and create exceptional experiences. As our program continues to grow, Amanda’s leadership will enhance our ability to raise the standard in everything we do.”

Kremer brings a distinctive background spanning professional hockey, executive leadership and the private sector. She spent 10 years with Kroenke Sports and Entertainment from 2008-18 working in game presentation for the Colorado Avalanche where she led major productions and marquee organizational events, including collaborating with the NHL on the 2016 NHL Stadium Series and Alumni Game at Coors Field.

The Courtland, Minn., native joins the Pioneers after spending the past year managing community engagement and event strategy with Revelstoke Capital Partners. Prior to her time at Revelstoke, Kremer was a strategic project manager and senior executive assistant for the office of the CEO at Alterra Mountain Company (2024-25) and was with KSL Capital Partners from 2020-24 where she served in a chief of staff capacity and partnered with senior leadership on strategic priorities, organizational initiatives and special projects.

Kremer owns a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth as she majored in Applied Science in Athletic Training and earned a minor in Psychology in May 2008.
