Colorado connections, Bulls teammates Flores, Trichak claim weekly NCDC awards
The NCDC had announced its weekly awards, with two players with ties to Colorado taking home the honors from the Mountain Division.
Defenseman: Quinten Flores – Pueblo Bulls: Flores tallied a goal and an assist in three games. Flores netted a power-play goal and dished out an assist.
Flores is an Arvada native who played for the Colorado Thunderbirds and Okanagan Hockey Colorado, as well as in the NAHL for the Colorado Grit.
Rookie: Jaxson Trichak – Pueblo Bulls: Trichak tallied two goals over three games played. Trichak posted back-to-back goals on Thursday and Friday.
Trichak is a Washington native who has also seen time this season with Okanagan Hockey Colorado.
