Centennial native, Hawks, Tigers alum Bunjer captures weekly EHL award

The EHL has announced that New Jersey Bears forward Oliver Bunjer is a Mid-Atlantic Conference Star of the Week.

Bunjer did NOT allow the Bears to lose this past week.

Down 5-1 to the Pennsylvania Huntsmen in the third period on October 7, the All Star from Centennial kicked off the long road back with a pair of goals, assisted another, and then scored the overtime winner for a four-point game in a monumental comeback win.

He then factored in all three goals, assisting the overtime winner in the Bears’ 3-2 win two days later over the Huntsmen.

The Bears next take on Philadelphia Hockey Club on October 15.

During his days playing youth hockey, Bunjer played for the Littleton Hawks and Colorado Springs Tigers.
