Air Force goalie, Superior native Wasik secures weekly honors from Atlantic Hockey America
Air Force junior goaltender Dominik Wasik has been named the Atlantic Hockey America Goalie of the Week as he earned both wins at Army.
The Superior native posted a 2.45 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage. He allowed just three even-strength goals in the series.
Wasik made 21 saves in the first game. In game two, he made 31 saves, the second most of his career, including 14 in the third period and one in overtime.
The weekly award for Wasik is his second of the season and career.
Back in Colorado, Wasik played for the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders and Monarch High School.
